Treamer, Finland's largest digital staffing platform, is expanding in Europe, with Estonia being the pilot market for its fast job-matching service for flexible work.
Founded in 2015, Treamer's job matching service has over 40 000 registered users in Finland alone and is expanding into new markets with the help of 2m€ funding from investors. In addition to expanding in Scandinavia, Estonia is one of Treamer’s first expansion markets and has already gained more than 10 000 registered users during summer.
“Estonia, a true startup nation, is the growth center of new technologies. After the first successful test campaign almost two years ago we are thrilled to re-enter a market where people are already used to doing things differently. Our vision is to become the largest digital staffing platform in Europe by 2025, and the key to success is to develop our app further based on lessons from different markets,” says Peter Sazonov, CEO and co-founder of Treamer.
Treamer’s platform helps businesses to find and manage on-demand staff fast and easy, while workers get easy access to jobs nearby and get paid fast weekly. Most of the jobs are in the retail, warehousing, maintenance and hospitality sectors.
According to Liisi Voksepp, market launcher for Treamer, the world is changing rapidly and the global labor market is facing a crisis due to the highly uncertain end date to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Modern people meet online. Staffing and recruiting services are strongly following this trend. Soon most workers will be available only online. We help both companies and workers reap the benefits of this phenomenon, improving speed, flexibility and transparency,” the Treamer Estonia country manager says.
“With the COVID-19 crisis, the labor market has changed and the parties need new tools to prosper. The Treamer platform offers equal opportunities for everyone to succeed. Employers' need to find extra workers on-demand has been rising accordingly, but at the same time they cannot take the risk to hire full time staff. The very same situation has created uncertainty for workers, so there are more people than ever looking to diversify their income sources,” adds Voksepp.
