📚 Solving the Pain of Onsite Training: Mobile Onboarding for Shift Workers

A common pain point we often hear is that training and onboarding is time consuming and a pain to handle onsite. In addition, it’s hard to distribute training materials to a transient workforce before they arrive for a shift and ensure the materials have actually been read. 

With our latest launch, you can now upload training and onboarding materials as a mandatory step in the application process for workers to complete. This means that, before applying for a shift, workers must first read and complete the necessary training and onboarding materials in their mobile app.

The benefits:

• Enables you to share training and onboarding materials via the Worker Mobile App
• Ensures all applicants have read and prepared for your shift in advance
• Gives Unit Managers proof these materials have been read and completed

🤔 Adding training files is easy, do it in these simple steps

Click on ‘Add link’ to add a web link

Add a web link for training or onboarding by clicking ‘Add link’ and following the onscreen instructions.

Note: Currently, you can only add a web link. Uploading other files from your computer is not yet possible, but this feature will be available soon.

Select a Company and Job Position

Selecting the company and job position will determine which Job Ad will require the applicant to have read the materials as a mandatory requirement. 

Note: If Workers have read the training and onboarding materials once, they will not have to do it again if they apply for the same shift. 

 

View the completion of training

No matter who placed the shift order, every unit manager will be able to view confirmation that the Worker has completed the training materials from the Applicant or Hired list from the Calendar in the Web App.
